Information for Contributors
General Information
The editorial board is
particularly interested in encouraging the submission of integrative
theoretical papers, although papers with a purely applied focus will also be considered.
A major aim of this new journal is to stimulate and facilitate communication
among the diverse and multidisciplinary group of scientists who are interested
in credibility assessment and witness psychology.
We are particularly excited about the electronic format of JCAAWP for the
following reasons:

Preparation of Manuscripts
Manuscripts submitted to the Journal
of Credibility Assessment and Witness Psychology should follow the general citation style
described in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological
Association, Fifth Edition.
All submissions must be in an electronic format. All manuscripts will
eventually be converted to HTML format; however, JCAAWP staff will handle this for all
contributors. It is requested that the text of the submission be prepared in
either ASCII format, or prepared on a popular word processor. Microsoft Word
(either Windows or Mac) is the preferred format. Any questions regarding the
format of submissions should be referred to the editor in advance. Please note
the following exceptions in manuscript preparation from the standard APA 5th
Edition style:
Submissions may be made either
over the Internet or by standard mail on 3.5" disk, or CD (both Windows or
Macintosh formats are acceptable). Internet submissions may be made via email,
